How to Clean a Glass Coffee Pot
If you’re a fan of making a fresh pot of coffee each day, you’ve probably accumulated quite a bit of residue in your glass coffee pot. Luckily, with a few key ingredients, you can easily clean and maintain your glass coffee pot to keep it looking and working its best.
What You’ll Need
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Old cloth
Instructions
- Fill the coffee pot with either a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 1 part water, or fill it with a solution of equal parts water and baking soda.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Gently scrub any interior residue with a cleaning scrubber.
- Once most of the residue has been removed, rinse the glass pot with warm water.
- If any residue still remains, filled it half with warm water and add some baking soda.
- Shake it around to help dissolve residue and give a final rinse.
- Dry your glass coffee pot with an old cloth.
