If you’re a fan of making a fresh pot of coffee each day, you’ve probably accumulated quite a bit of residue in your glass coffee pot. Luckily, with a few key ingredients, you can easily clean and maintain your glass coffee pot to keep it looking and working its best.

What You’ll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Old cloth

  1. Fill the coffee pot with either a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 1 part water, or fill it with a solution of equal parts water and baking soda.
  2. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Gently scrub any interior residue with a cleaning scrubber.
  4. Once most of the residue has been removed, rinse the glass pot with warm water.
  5. If any residue still remains, filled it half with warm water and add some baking soda.
  6. Shake it around to help dissolve residue and give a final rinse.
  7. Dry your glass coffee pot with an old cloth.

And voila! Your glass coffee pot should be nice and clean. To maintain, remember to regularly rinse the pot after each use, or use a vinegar and water mixture once a month. Proper cleaning and maintenance help extend the life of your glass coffee pot and keep it looking at its best.
