If the way we feel about furniture is, in fact, an extension of the way we feel about life, what does it say that so many millennials care more about the idea of something lasting rather than its actual capacity to do so, and the way it signals adulthood, rather than actually inhabits it? That’s what they’ve always said about millennials: We’re not adults; we’re simulacrums of adults, embracing the surface ideas (“adulting!”) without the substance (sacrifice, hard work).
Tables also have historical context. Before the 1700s, most European homes didn’t have much furniture; even the homes of the wealthiest families were limited to one large table (and no couches!). By the end of the century, however, the use and creation of small “occasional” tables ballooned. The sofa table, for example, was designed to host tea or be a great place to write a letter. We do neither today, but we liked the shape of this tall, skinny table, and have kept it in modern day living rooms, though now it usually holds lamps, plants, or decor.
Demographics bear this out: 30% of those between the ages of 20 and 29 will now spend time abroad; less than 60% of Americans now live in the same state they were born in. That may seem like a lot, but according to US Census Data, it was almost 70% in 1950. General mobility is up, in part because the time between graduation from high school or college and “settling down” is expanding: The average age of marriage has risen to 27 for women and 29 for men (in 1990, it was 23 for women and 26 for men in 1990), and the average age of motherhood has risen from 24.9 (1990) to 26.3; the average age to purchase a house has risen to age 33.

It’s easy to get confused about tables, however; apart from the kitchen’s table obvious purpose, tables names like “console table” and “side table” are often just sort of thrown around willy nilly without much thought to function or style. We buy something Ikea calls an “accent table” because we think we need one and we dutifully move it from house to house.
The base was originally produced in walnut, birch, and cherry.[1] It was later offered in ebonized walnut. Cherry bases were made only during the first year the table was on the market, and have been highly sought since. Birch bases were discontinued after 1954.[1] As of 2016, the table is available in an ebonized finish, walnut, white ash and natural cherry.[2]

The UK NHS advises that avoiding coffee may reduce anxiety.[156] Caffeine, the major active ingredient in coffee, is associated with anxiety.[157][158] At high doses, typically greater than 300 mg, caffeine can both cause and worsen anxiety.[159] For some people, discontinuing caffeine use can significantly reduce anxiety.[160] Caffeine-induced anxiety disorder is a subclass of substance- or medication-induced anxiety disorder.[161] Populations that may be most impacted by caffeine consumption are adolescents and those already suffering anxiety disorders.[162] Preliminary research indicated the possibility of a beneficial relationship between coffee intake and reduced depression.[5][163][164] Long-term preliminary research, including assessment of symptoms for dementia and cognitive impairment, was inconclusive for coffee having an effect in the elderly, mainly due to the poor quality of the studies.[5][165]

I absolutely LOVE this table for my living room! It brightens up the room since I do have a black TV and entertainment center. The X siding matches perfect with my Target end tables. The table arrived earlier than expected. The box that it came in was thin and was wrapped in bubble wrap? One of the X sidings arrived bent and it looks pretty weird. I have read reviews that the seller will replace any damaged pieces. I am not sure how to contact them and to request a new piece. The table took me about 30 minutes to put it together. It was pretty easy and it doesn't have too many different parts to determine what goes where. The dimensions of this table is 44 in width, 22 in length and 16.5 height. I rated this table a 5/5 because it is absolutely beautiful and pictures cannot show ... full review
Tableware for special circumstances has to be adapted. Dining in the outdoors, for example, whether for recreational purposes, as on a picnic or as part of a journey, project or mission requires specialised tableware. It must be portable, more robust and if possible, lighter in weight than tableware used indoors. It is usually carefully packed for transportation to the place where it will be used.
How many hours do we put into choosing the perfect sofa, the perfect rug, the perfect chairs for our living room…only to throw in a hand-me-down coffee table that used to belong to Aunt Susan? (bless her heart). Okay, we don’t all go down the who-cares-about-a-coffee-table route. Plenty of you have definitely belabored the choice of a table, we’re sure, but regardless of what side of those scenarios you find yourself, you might need some guidance or inspiration in the coffee table shopping department. What size and shape go with what sofa size and shape? It might feel like a shot in the dark, but fear not, we’re here to help. We’ve put together a shopping guide jam-packed with options—round, square, rectangular, oval!—and a few rules to keep in mind (with a diagram!) when choosing a coffee table.
The Noguchi table became one of Herman Miller's most iconic and successful designs. Production ceased in 1973, and the piece became an instant collectible. Herman Miller reissued it in 1980 in a limited edition of about 480 tables. The table was reintroduced again in 1984 for the "Herman Miller Classics" line, and has been in production ever since.[1]
While the EDH team is based in the US, I understand that you have a worldwide readership. I often wondered if it could be fun to create a 1 room/2 ways-style post or series with one version featuring pieces from US vendors, and the other featuring vendors from another country. If required, readers from those countries could even suggest vendors or makers as a starting point, or individual pieces that may fit the style.
You begin to put down your tea. It’s cold now anyway – the kids didn’t go off to play as you would have hoped and, during the time that you diffused a stubborn conflict over nothing in particular, your brew edged from hot to stone cold. I deviate. You may not even have children and your tea might still be piping. (If this is the case, i’m a little jealous). The point is; you aim to place the tea somewhere, to free up both hands, and – shock horror – there’s nowhere to put it. No coffee table, no side table, NO TABLE. Just sofa. And floor. And you’re the sophisticated type after all…

The American Birding Association, Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center,[76] National Arbor Day Foundation,[77] and the Rainforest Alliance have led a campaign for 'shade-grown' and organic coffees, which can be sustainably harvested.[citation needed] Shaded coffee cultivation systems show greater biodiversity than full-sun systems, and those more distant from continuous forest compare rather poorly to undisturbed native forest in terms of habitat value for some bird species.[78][79]

Besides wood tables, Metal coffee tables are quite popular nowadays. Similar to wood tables, metal tables are weighed lighter and are sturdy too. Generally, the legs of the metal tables are narrower below than the top. They are patterned in unique designs making the table look stylish. Metal being a tougher material it gives better support than wood. With its smooth surface, water-resistant quality and ridgeless look it is a good choice for the coffee table.

From a slick urban loft to a suburban home that's embraced farmhouse chic, the Sauder Woodworking Studio RTA Nola Coffee Table is going to be the perfect table for any space. This table has a frame of welded metal with a powder-coated finish. Across the top is a single sheet of clear, tempered glass. This thick glass is easy to maintain, making this an ideal surface for regular daily use. The frame is offered in a variety of finish colors to suit any home décor style.
A family room needs a sturdier coffee table. You may also want to look for one that has storage options, like drawers. The surface should be able to take abuse because spilled snacks or feet on the table are more common in casual settings. Glass tops are generally not suitable for family rooms, not just because of fragility, but finger marks and scratches too. For glass-tops without frames, there is the danger of sharp corners, especially when you have small children.
The height, width, and visual weight of your coffee table can have a major effect on the overall look and feel of your room. To keep from dwarfing surrounding furniture (or vice versa), scale and size should be top of mind—pairing a dainty coffee table with overstuffed couch, for example, will throw off proportions and functionality. To get the size right, read on for our fool-proof measuring tips.
Once everything dried overnight,  I began by adding decorative trim on the edges of the skirt.  It added character to the table but would also hide the edge of the plywood bottom I would put I later.  The top piece I cut and placed at the top between the legs.  The other piece I placed along the bottom edge of the skirt overhanging approx. ¼”.  I cheated by holding a piece of ¼” scrap on the edge while I glued and nailed it.  No measuring.  Repeat on all 4 sides.  I then glued and nailed a 1” x 2” on the inside of the skirt at the top.  It added more stability to the top and helped hide the pocket screws.  I placed ¾” x ½” pine at the corners of the legs.  This would hide the edge of the bottom plywood when installed for a more finished look.
The shipment arrived this afternoon and I am sooo delighted. Thank you so much for rushing this cut out right before the long three-day holiday weekend! Several species of shrub of the genus Coffea produce the berries from which coffee is extracted. The two main species commercially cultivated are Coffea canephora (predominantly a form known as 'robusta') and C. arabica.[44] C. arabica, the most highly regarded species, is native to the southwestern highlands of Ethiopia and the Boma Plateau in southeastern Sudan and possibly Mount Marsabit in northern Kenya.[45] C. canephora is native to western and central Subsaharan Africa, from Guinea to Uganda and southern Sudan.[46] Less popular species are C. liberica, C. stenophylla, C. mauritiana, and C. racemosa.

BEST ANSWER: You could still brew "coffee" using other filters and the Chemed, but the real answer is No. Chemex filters are around $7 for a box of 100 filters. They are designed for the vase shape and filter out more of the oils than typical coffee filters. The Chemex filter plays perhaps the most important role in the flavor profile of Chemed brewed coffee.

Since the founding of organizations such as the European Fair Trade Association (1987), the production and consumption of fair trade coffee has grown as some local and national coffee chains started to offer fair trade alternatives.[220][221] For example, in April 2000, after a year-long campaign by the human rights organization Global Exchange, Starbucks decided to carry fair-trade coffee in its stores.[222] Since September 2009 all Starbucks Espresso beverages in UK and Ireland are made with Fairtrade and Shared Planet certified coffee.[223]

The table was finally assembled.  I filled the cracks in the mitered corners with wood filler being careful not to over fill the area.  Wood filler, like glue, can block the stain sometimes and not allow a nice finish.  Once all nail holes etc. were filled and dried, everything got a sanding.  I sanded the mitered corners the most to have a flat finished joint.  The rest got a light sanding to prep for staining.  Everything was stained with  three coats of a chestnut color oil stain.  I then added two coats of satin water poly.  The wood still had an uneven look to the stain so I glazed everything.  It helped even out the color and add some character.  I gave everything two more coats of poly.

Through the efforts of the British East India Company, coffee became popular in England as well. John Evelyn recorded tasting the drink at Oxford in England in a diary entry of May 1637 to where it had been brought by an Ottoman student of Balliol College from Crete named Nathaniel Conopios of Crete.[28][29] Oxford's Queen's Lane Coffee House, established in 1654, is still in existence today. Coffee was introduced in France in 1657, and in Austria and Poland after the 1683 Battle of Vienna, when coffee was captured from supplies of the defeated Turks.[30]

Now in the serial monitor we can send commands to the HC05 and see its response. Type "AT" and press send and you should see "OK" come back on the serial monitor - now we know it is listening. The bluetooth name of the device can be changed by typing "AT+NAME=XYZPQR" where XYZPQR is what you want the module to be called. I called mine LightWave. The default passcode for the bluetooth module is 1234 (or 0000) but this can be changed too by sending "AT+PSWD=9876" for example. Finally, we can change the communication rate of the HC05 by sending "AT+UART=38400". This is the default rate for most HC05 modules but mine was set differently so it is good practice to set it to be sure. There are lot's more details about these commands here : https://www.itead.cc/wiki/Serial_Port_Bluetooth_M... and there are also instructables about this step that have much more detail https://www.instructables.com/id/Modify-The-HC-05-...

This method is commonly referred to as the traditional shaded method, or "shade-grown". Starting in the 1970s, many farmers switched their production method to sun cultivation, in which coffee is grown in rows under full sun with little or no forest canopy. This causes berries to ripen more rapidly and bushes to produce higher yields, but requires the clearing of trees and increased use of fertilizer and pesticides, which damage the environment and cause health problems.[72]
Coffee tables, are arguable the center piece of any seating arrangement. They are omnipresent in all interior designs and aesthetics, and come in an ostensibly countless amount of styles. This rectangular coffee table for example, is perfectly at home in modern or glam aesthetics. It is crafted from stainless steel and tempered glass, and features a bottom shelf to stow away or display magazines and books, or to stow away extra remotes and chargers. It measures 19'' H x 42.25'' L x 24'' W....
The earliest credible evidence of coffee-drinking appears in modern-day Yemen in southern Arabia in the middle of the 15th century in Sufi shrines.[6] It was here in Arabia that coffee seeds were first roasted and brewed in a manner similar to how it is now prepared. But the coffee seeds had to be first exported from East Africa to Yemen, as Coffea arabica is thought to have been indigenous to the former.[7] The Yemenis obtained their coffee via Somali traders from Berbera (who in turn procured the beans from the Ethiopian Highlands) and began to cultivate the seed. By the 16th century, the drink had reached Persia, Turkey, and North Africa. From there, it spread to Europe and the rest of the world.
^ "The Coffee break". npr.org. December 2, 2002. Archived from the original on May 28, 2009. Retrieved June 10, 2009. Wherever the coffee break originated, Stamberg says, it may not actually have been called a coffee break until 1952. That year, a Pan-American Coffee Bureau ad campaign urged consumers, 'Give yourself a Coffee-Break – and Get What Coffee Gives to You.'
The American coffeehouse chain Starbucks, which began as a modest business roasting and selling coffee beans in 1971, was founded by three college students, Jerry Baldwin, Gordon Bowker, and Zev Siegl. The first store opened on March 30, 1971 at the Pike Place Market in Seattle, followed by a second and third over the next two years.[198] Entrepreneur Howard Schultz joined the company in 1982 as Director of Retail Operations and Marketing, and pushed to sell premade espresso coffee. The others were reluctant, but Schultz opened Il Giornale in Seattle in April 1986.[199] He bought the other owners out in March 1987 and pushed on with plans to expand—from 1987 to the end of 1991, the chain (rebranded from Il Giornale to Starbucks) expanded to over 100 outlets.[200] The company has 25,000 stores in over 75 countries worldwide.[201]
Other accounts attribute the discovery of coffee to Sheikh Omar. According to an ancient chronicle (preserved in the Abd-Al-Kadir manuscript), Omar, who was known for his ability to cure the sick through prayer, was once exiled from Mocha in Yemen to a desert cave near Ousab (modern-day Wusab, about 90 kilometres (56 mi) east of Zabid).[16] Starving, Omar chewed berries from nearby shrubbery but found them to be bitter. He tried roasting the seeds to improve the flavor, but they became hard. He then tried boiling them to soften the seed, which resulted in a fragrant brown liquid. Upon drinking the liquid Omar was revitalized and sustained for days. As stories of this "miracle drug" reached Mocha, Omar was asked to return and was made a saint.[17]

Notes on this table; I did note that through other sellers it's different so be sure you do as this seller says in their details and buy from them as I guess they're the original seller (from what Ive read when researching this table) and as such they have the table you'll want if you're wanting tempered glass and the look of this one. From what I read some of the knock off sellers difffernces included not getting tempered glass (this one does have it) and the glass bottom is different colors like black or darkened glass. This one is clear top glass and bottom frosted glass. The pics seem to show clear top and bottom but it's not but I like ... full review

If the glass is framed by wood or other non-glass material, do your best to keep the glass cleaner on the glass so you don’t ruin non-glass material. Two popular products for cleaning glass include Windex and the powdered version of Bar Keepers Friend cleaner (which also works great on other various household surfaces.) Another great and chemical-free option would be to use a polishing microfiber cloth designed specifically for cleaning glass surfaces with a water spray bottle.
Now we have all the hardware implemented we can start looking at software. I downloaded and installed software called Glediator to create animations for the LEDs (http://www.solderlab.de/index.php/software/glediat...). The installation instructions can be a bit fiddly but follow the website closely and you should be fine. We also need to download the sketch from the Glediator website to upload to the Arduino (http://www.solderlab.de/index.php/downloads/catego...). We are using WS2812B LEDs so make sure you download the right one (WS2812 Glediator Interface). Once you open this sketch, change the NUMBER_OF_PIXELS to 144 and upload it to the Arduino.

The best (but least used) method of drying coffee is using drying tables. In this method, the pulped and fermented coffee is spread thinly on raised beds, which allows the air to pass on all sides of the coffee, and then the coffee is mixed by hand. In this method the drying that takes place is more uniform, and fermentation is less likely. Most African coffee is dried in this manner and certain coffee farms around the world are starting to use this traditional method.[88]

It is simple to measure a radius by using our radius measurement tool. Download the tool by clicking here. Print the tool. When printing please make sure page scaling is set to none. To verify you have printed the tool to the correct scale measure the 1″ Scale Line at the bottom of the page. It should measure out to exactly 1″. Designer Shawn Henderson pared down the coffee table decor in the living room of this Montana mountain home. The custom sofa, in a JAB Anstoetz fabric, is by Dune, the 1950s chair (left) is in a Dedar fabric, and the custom armchair is covered in Arabel fabrics; the 1930s orange lacquer–and-shagreen sideboard is French, the 1950s Murano glass table lamp is by Seguso, the 1955 chandelier is by FontanaArte, the custom rug is by Beauvais, and the Venetian plaster walls are in Benjamin Moore’s Stonington Gray.

Industrial design makes use of materials common around the turn-of-the-century, notably exposed brick, distressed wood in natural stains, and exposed steel or other metal. This can be a really eye-catching design style and even if you live in an apartment and can’t reveal exposed beams or put up an exposed brick wall, an industrial table made from metal and wood can be a great way to add your own personal spin to your home.

Make a striking statement with this product and live in the elegantly sleek future. I met a flower child friend of friends in the early seventies who worked for a year or two as a call girl in hollywood. One of her gigs was to be naked in a bathtub in the Capitol Record building at a party spraying water on her clitoris and pretending she was getting off to add to the party atmosphere. She said she had Danny Thomas as a client for awhile - he wanted to be called "Danello". His thing was that she was to leave a glass of orange juice on the counter in the kitchen and her door unlocked at a certain time. He would come in and drink the orange juice, then she would come out from another room and "discover" him and be angry as though he was a bad child. The whole routine would end up with him literally kissing her ass on the couch.
I thought I was being original, but I was incredibly typical. Millennial “style,” according to one expert, is “all about the mix — new and old, expensive and cheap, DIY and purchased.” “Authentic” in the form of repurposed wood and industrial aesthetic, “modern” with a piece of, uh, mid-century modern, and “individual” with a statement piece: a “Pinterest-worthy green velvet sofa,” as one survey respondent put it.

For a glass table top where the glass sits in a metal frame, such as a patio table top, it can be a little tricky to get the exact glass you'll need. If you need to replace broken glass that sits inside a metal frame, please straighten the frame before you measure for the glass you need. We will fabricate the glass exactly to the dimensions you provide with a 1/8" cutting tolerance.
We really liked the natural color of this walnut wood, so wanted to keep it as light as possible after sealing and finishing. That's typically quite difficult, especially with darker woods like walnut that really like to absorb finishes and get even darker. But, where there's a will there's a way! In this case, we used a flat, water-based finish from General Finishes that seals and finishes wood perfectly; because it's a water-based finish, it doesn't alter the wood color too much! As always, test your finish before you commit to it. We tried five different finishes before settling on this one.

Over the past few years I’ve just come to expect my online orders to be screwed up somehow, however, One Day Glass came through with 100% accuracy. I ordered three shelves to replace the ones that I somehow lost in a move. They could not have looked or fit better. PERFECTION, is the word I would use in all aspects of this order. The price was excellent, the online custom order form was easy to follow, the delivery time was less than one week, and three of my pieces were safely packed and in mint condition when I pulled them out of the box. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and will be recommending you to anyone looking for custom glass services. Anyone who works there obviously takes a lot of pride in what they do. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! For service above and beyond the norm.
A legend says that after the second Turkish siege of Vienna in 1683, the Viennese discovered many bags of coffee in the abandoned Ottoman encampment. Using this captured stock, a Polish soldier named Kulczycki opened the first coffeehouse in Vienna. This story never happened. Nowadays it is proven that the first coffeehouse in Vienna was opened by the Armenian Johannes Theodat in 1685.[191][192]
Coffee tables are usually found in the living room or sitting room. They are available in many different variations and prices vary from style to style. Coffee tables may also incorporate cabinets or drawers for storage. The most common construction of coffee tables is out of wood (though faux wood tables are increasingly common); metal, glass, and leather coffee tables are also popular. Typically, stainless steel or aluminum are used for metal coffee tables. The idiom "Gather round the coffee table" is derived from the furniture piece and its proclivity for encouraging conviviality and light conversation. Coffee tables were thought to initially be constructed in Renaissance England.
And then there’s the way we live: Two-thirds of millennials are renters, and in those rentals, they’re more likely to live with roommates than alone. Sixty-two percent prefer to live in “urban centers” — a dramatic shift from our parents’ generation. Only 66% of millennials under 25 own a car. When we do have money, we spend it on vacations, pay off debt, or save it — only 16% report spending excess funds on “home improvement/decorating.” The places we live are likely to be smaller and urban and shared; we have less space to fill, fewer ways to fill it, and less inclination to devote our funds to doing so.
The Chemex coffeemaker is one-piece, hourglass-shaped, and made of high-quality, heat-resistant glass. This traditional model comes with a polished wood collar and leather tie. The collar serves as an insulated handle around the middle of the coffeemaker and is removable. Just place filter in top and measure out grounds, then pour in hot water and watch your coffee drip into the bottom.

The next step in the process is the roasting of the green coffee. Coffee is usually sold in a roasted state, and with rare exceptions all coffee is roasted before it is consumed. It can be sold roasted by the supplier, or it can be home roasted.[92] The roasting process influences the taste of the beverage by changing the coffee bean both physically and chemically. The bean decreases in weight as moisture is lost and increases in volume, causing it to become less dense. The density of the bean also influences the strength of the coffee and requirements for packaging.

Launched in July, 2013, it has shown its facts over 1000 million times, and was selected among the Top 100 websites of 2013 by the prestigious PC Magazine, and as one of the 99 Sites That Every Professional Should Know About by BusinessInsider. It was also featured in sites such as The Awesomer, Design Taxi, I-Am-Bored.com, Neatorama, and DONG, a YouTube show with over a million subscribers.

To begin- I would expect to pay more for just the slab of glass that makes up the top portion of this table. I have been putting together A LOT of furniture as I just moved and THIS piece was a breeze to assemble. Everything was in tact- the instructions were pretty straight forward and the table was constructed in about 15-20 minutes. The box is quite heavy so that is a consideration if you need to carry it far once it makes it to your doorstep.
BEST ANSWER: The wooden grip is easily removed - it's tied on with the leather strap. as long as you keep water off the leather, the grip and leather will last for some time. I haven't personally used a dishwasher to clean it and would be hesitant to do so as the Chemex itself is bottom heavy (top heavy, if you turn it upside down). Serious Eats says that if you do use a dishwasher to clean a Chemex that you should rinse it several times afterwards... hope this is helpful.
Glass table tops are also a hassle-free way to give furniture a new look. For example, if you want to refresh an older piece of furniture without having to deal with stains or paint, glass table tops are a great option. You can use a glass table top to add the shine a stain or paint would have without the mess. A glass table top would look great on a dresser, desk, or coffee table while also making it easy to clean them.
Glass thicknesses are shown as a Nominal Thickness, meaning “in name only”, used solely for identification. These are commonly listed as 1/8″, 5/32″, 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″. The nominal size may not match the exact thickness but will be within the acceptable industry-wide thickness range and can correspond to a large number of highly standardized dimensions and tolerances.
Originally, coffee farming was done in the shade of trees that provided a habitat for many animals and insects.[70] Remnant forest trees were used for this purpose, but many species have been planted as well. These include leguminous trees of the genera Acacia, Albizia, Cassia, Erythrina, Gliricidia, Inga, and Leucaena, as well as the nitrogen-fixing non-legume sheoaks of the genus Casuarina, and the silky oak Grevillea robusta.[71]
Putting a toned-down twist on a sleek contemporary design, this rectangular coffee table anchors your living room in understated style. This piece is crafted with a powder-coated iron frame and two shatter-resistant tempered glass shelves that provide a space to spread out snacks, books, and potted plants. Its open sides and clear tiers contribute to its minimalist look, while its distressed details lend it a touch of weathered charm. Assembly is required.

A table setting in Western countries is mainly in one of two styles: service à la russe (French for "in the Russian style"), where each course of the meal is brought out in specific order; and service à la française (French for "in the French style"), where all the courses for the meal are arranged on the table and presented at the same time that guests are seated. Service à la russe has become the custom in most restaurants, whereas service à la française is the norm in family settings.

Currently one of the things I’m struggling most with is using color. I’m SO tempted to stick with black, white and grey in every room, but I know I need to incorporate color into my space. I’m struggling to find ways to do this in the living room without feeling accosted by something too bright, and I also worry that any color I choose will feel dated quickly. I’m not sure where to add it and how much. Do I do art, throw pillows, and the rug? I want my space to feel welcoming, modern and soothing but not flat and boring. Help! 🙂
I was born in 1981, which places me on the far end of what marketers call “old millennials” — and particularly poised to observe just how effectively the furniture revolution has transformed my life and the lives of other (middle-class) millennials. I graduated from college in 2003 and spent the next decade moving all over the place: Over my graduate career and following attempts to secure a job, I moved to Seattle, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, and back to eastern Washington state before ending up in New York.
