Using Pyrex Glass Coffee Maker
Things you will need
- Pyrex glass coffee maker
- Filter
- Ground coffee
- Water
Steps
- Remove the Pyrex glass coffee maker from the box. Rinse the carafe and filter holder.
- Place the filter into the holder and fill it loosely with about 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every cup of coffee you wish to make.
- Important: Do not overfill the filter, as this can restrict the flow of water.
- Take your water and pour it into the carafe. Fill the carafe up to the desired amount.
- Place the filter holder on the carafe. Be sure that the filter holder is securely held in place.
- Put the carafe onto your stove and turn the heat to low to medium. This will ensure that the coffee doesn’t burn.
- Remove the coffee maker from the heat once the desired strength is reached.
- Carefully remove the filter holder and filter, pouring the grounds into the trash can.
- You should now be able to enjoy your coffee from your Pyrex glass coffee maker.
Tips
- To avoid over extraction, be sure to remove the filter holder once the desired strength is reached.
- Be careful when handling the filter and carafe as they can be very hot.
- Be sure to flush the carafe and filter holder with cold water before use.
