What You Need for Upholstering A Glass Coffee Table:

  • Glass Coffee Table
  • Upholstery Foam
  • Fabric

  • Iron
  • Adhesive Spray

  1. Measure the glass top of the coffee table and buy the upholstery foam and fabric that’s large enough to cover the entire surface.
  2. Cut the upholstery foam to size and spray the bottom of the foam with adhesive spray. Attach it to the table top. Be sure to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles to create a flat surface.
  3. Lay 60-inch wide fabric wrong side up on a clean, flat surface. Position the foam on top and fold the excess fabric over the edges with right sides facing up. Staple the fabric in place
  4. Fold the corners on the underside of the table and staple in place.
  5. Trim any excess fabric, then iron it flat. Spray the entire surface with adhesive spray and fold the excess fabric over the sides, using a staple gun to attach the fabric along the sides.
