Turn Your Glass Coffee Table Into An Ottoman

1. Gather Materials
Before you get started, make sure you have everything you need to make this transformation. You can find all of the materials and supplies you need at your local fabric and home improvement stores, or online.

- Upholstery Fabric
- Staple Gun
- Foam Padding
- Scissors

2. Measure the Table
To ensure that you have enough fabric to cover the coffee table, you’ll need to measure the table and then add approximately two inches for seam allowances around the edges.
3. Prepare the Fabric
Cut the fabric to the size of your measurement, making sure you have seam allowances around the edges. With the fabric together in one piece, place it face-down on a hard surface then carefully set the foam padding on top, followed by the glass coffee table.
4. Staple the Fabric in Place
Start in one corner and pull the fabric tightly across the table and secure it with staples. Continue this process until all sides have been covered, but make sure to secure the fabric tight at each staple to avoid any bunching or gaps.
5. Trim any Excess Fabric
Once you have finished stapling the upholstery fabric, trim any excess fabric off the corners and edges. If you need to, use scissors or a sharp knife to make sure the fabric is even and flush with the edges of the coffee table.
