How To Remove Rings On Coffee Table
Coffee tables can become marked with drink rings, water droplets and crayon drawings. Don’t worry – you can usually remove these rings with a few simple methods and materials.
Things You’ll Need
- Vinegar
- Water
- Mayonnaise
- Cleaning cloths
- Nail polish remover
Remove The Rings
- Vinegar and water
Mix equal parts of vinegar and warm water and use a cloth to apply it to the coffee table. Rub it in a circular motion for 30 seconds and, if necessary, use a little elbow grease. Wipe off the mixture with a dry cloth.
- Mayonnaise
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise over the ring and leave it for 20 minutes. Wipe off the mayonnaise and the ring should come right off.
- Nail polish remover
If the ring is from nail polish, pour a small amount of nail polish remover onto a cloth and rub it on the ring. Make sure to use a cloth so you don’t damage the coffee table’s surface. Once the ring fades away, wipe the surface with a wet cloth.
Whatever method you choose, make sure to test it in an inconspicuous area first to make sure there isn’t any discoloration left on the coffee table.
