Removing a Coffee Stain from a Glass Coffee Pot

For those of us who love a great cup of coffee from a glass coffee pot, stains often appear from the minerals in the water as well as from the accumulation of oils from the coffee. Removing these stains can be an annoying chore but it is possible to restore your pot’s gleaming beauty with a few simple steps.

What You’ll Need

  • Baking Soda
  • White Vinegar
  • Sponge
  • Soft Towel

  1. Fill the pot with warm water and about ¼ cup of baking soda. Soak for about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the water and rinse the pot with clean water, scrubbing away at the stains with your sponge.
  3. Fill the pot again with warm water and about 1 cup of white vinegar. Swish the vinegar around and let it soak for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Drain and rinse the vinegar away with clean water, then dry the pot with the soft towel.

And you’re done! With these simple steps, that stubborn coffee stain will soon vanish, leaving your glass coffee pot looking good as new!
