How To Pallet Coffee Table
Pallet Coffee Tables are an attractive and easy way to add a unique, rustic touch to any space. Here is a simple step-by-step guide on how to make your own Pallet Coffee Table:
Things You’ll Need:
- 4 wooden pallets
- Screwdriver
- Saw
- Sandpaper
- Stain/Paint
- Low- VOC wood glue
Step 1: Preparing the Pallets
Ensure all of your pallets are in good condition. Remove any nails, ends and splinters with a saw and sandpaper.
Step 2: Staining the Pallets
With a paintbrush, apply a wood stain to the pallets and let them dry before continuing. If you would rather paint the pallets, prepared wood can also be used if desired.
Step 3: Assembling the Coffee Table
Lay two pallets out side-by-side so that the edge of one is opposite the edge of the other. Place one pallet on top of this ‘match’ between the two and secure it in place with low-VOC wood glue. This will create the top of the table.
Step 4: Finishing the Table
Attach the fourth pallet to the bottom of the table with the same low-VOC wood glue to create the bottom shelf. Let your coffee table dry for 24-48 hours before handling.
Now that your coffee table has been assembled, you can decorate it with whatever you like! Place flowers, books, magazines – whatever fits your aesthetic.
Enjoy your Pallet Coffee Table, and the rustic vibe it has added to your space!
