DIY Wooden Coffee Table
You Will Need:
- Four equal-sized wooden boards
- Wood measurement tools, such as a ruler, protractor and tape measure
- Wood saw
- Drills, drill bits and screws
- Sandpaper
- Stain or varnish
Step 1: Preparation
Measure and mark the size of the coffee table on the four wooden boards. Use the measurement tools to draw straight lines on the boards.
Step 2: Cutting the Boards
Use a wood saw to cut the boards according to the marks you have made. Cut slowly and carefully to ensure the edges are perfectly straight. Discard or store the excess wood for future use.
Step 3: Assemble the Base
Lay the four wooden boards flat on the ground. Line up the edges and use drills, drill bits and screws to join them together. Make sure that the screws are in straight lines and screwed down tightly.
Step 4: Sandpaper and Stain
Sand the edges to give them a smoother finish. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove any dust and dirt. Finally, apply a coat of stain or varnish on the coffee table to give it a beautiful and glossy look.
Step 5: Finishing Touches
Your DIY wooden coffee table is now ready to be used. To add an extra touch, you can add small decorative pieces to the top of the table. For example, you can use candles, small plants or artwork to your coffee table to make it look more attractive.
