How to Make a Timber Coffee Table
Getting the Materials
To make your own timber coffee table, you’ll need the following materials:
- Pine or cedar timber boards
- Wood glue
- Nails
- Wood filler
- Wood stain
- Finishing sealer
You may also want a jigsaw or saw to cut the pieces, a sander for smoothing, and clamps for holding it all together.
Assembling the Table
Once you have all the materials, you can start building the coffee table.
- Lay the timber boards down and decide how big you want the table top to be. Measure and mark off where you want to cut and use the jigsaw or saw to cut the boards to the desired size.
