How to Install Coffee Table Legs
Having the right coffee table can help make your living room feel stylish, neat and orderly. But the legs of the table can often be tricky to attach. Here is a basic guide on how to install a set of legs to your coffee table.
Things You’ll Need
- Coffee Table
- Screws & Bolts
- Screwdriver or Socket Ratchet
Step 1: Identifying Components
Once you have received your table and legs, the first step is to lay out all the components correctly so you know what you are dealing with. It can be useful to take the time to identify each leg and its associated parts, such as screws, nuts and bolts. It can also be useful to take a photo of the components to refer back to.
Step 2: Attaching bracket to table
In order to attach the legs to the table, there should be a bracket included in the box. This bracket will attach to the underside of the table, and the legs will then be attached to the bracket. You will need to use screws to attach the bracket, but first, make sure it is placed in the correct position so that it is secured.
Step 3: Attaching legs to bracket
Once the bracket is securely in place, you can now attach the legs. This will require screws or bolts, which should have come with the legs. Make sure to check the size of the screws or bolts, as they will need to fit in the holes on the bracket and legs. Once the screws or bolts are in place, secure them with a screwdriver or socket ratchet.
Step 4: Finishing touches
Once all the components are in place, it’s time to check that everything is secure and fits properly. Make sure that all the screws and bolts are securely tightened, and that the legs are firmly attached to the table. If you need to adjust the height of the table, you may be able to do so by adjusting the length of the screws or bolts.
And there you have it: a perfectly installed coffee table with legs!
