How to Fix a Wobbly Coffee Table
Having a wobbly coffee table can be quite annoying, but luckily it’s also quite easy to fix. Follow these steps to make your coffee table sturdy once again!
Materials
- Tape measure
- Wood screws
- Phillips screwdriver
- Leather belt (optional)
Steps
- Measure the approximate size of the gap between the top and bottom part of the coffee table. This will help you decide what size of wood screws you need.
- Carefully remove the screws from the existing holes in the table. If you are only able to remove some of them, that’s OK.
- Insert the new wood screws into the holes. Make sure the screws are tight and snug; if needed, use a Phillips screwdriver to secure them in place.
- If the screws are still unable to hold the two parts of the table together, use a leather belt to wrap around the bottom part of the table. This will help stabilize the table and keep it from wobbling.
That’s it! With these few simple steps, you can easily fix your wobbly coffee table.
