How to Clean Glass Coffee Pot Stains
Glass coffee pots are a wonderful way to brew and pour your favorite cup of hot coffee, tea or cocoa in the morning. Unfortunately, with frequent use, stained glass coffee pots can become an eyesore. Luckily, with a few supplies and a little effort, you can quickly and easily clean that stained coffee pot and make it look like new again.
You Will Need
- White Vinegar
- Arm & Hammer Baking Soda
- Dish Soap
- Scouring Pads
- Soft Cloth
Instructions
- Fill the glass coffee pot with one quart of white vinegar and 1/4 cup of Arm & Hammer baking soda.
- Add three drops of dish soap and fill the carafe to the top with warm water.
- Put the lid on the carafe and shake the contents for 1 minute.
- Unscrew the lid and rest it on the counter. Allow the mixture to sit for at least an hour.
- Gently scrub the stained areas of the pot with a scouring pad, making sure to cover every area with the mixture.
- Rinse the pot under running water and gently wipe it clean with a soft cloth.
- Repeat the process as often as necessary until the stains are completely removed.
