How to Clean Glass Coffee Pot Stains
Coffee stains can be difficult to remove – but they don’t have to be! Follow this guide and you’ll be able to get your coffee pot looking clean and sparkling in no time.
Things You’ll Need
- Baking soda
- Vinegar
- Lemon
- Distilled water
- Soft cloth or brush
Step 1: Gently scrub the stains
Take a soft cloth or brush and gently scrub the stained areas to loosen up any stuck-on coffee particles.
Step 2: Create a baking soda paste
Create a paste by mixing equal parts of baking soda and distilled water. Take the paste and rub it onto the stained areas in the coffee pot. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Rinse with warm water
Carefully rinse the paste off with warm water. Check to see if any of the stains remain and if necessary repeat steps 1-3.
Step 4: Soak the pot
Fill your sink or large bowl with hot water, add a few spoonfuls of white vinegar or a few slices of lemon and place the pot into the mixture. Let it soak for at least an hour.
Step 5: Rinse the pot and dry
Take the pot out and rinse it off with warm water. Then dry with a soft cloth.
And there you have it! Your coffee pot will now be sparkling clean and free of stains.
