How to Clean Glass Coffee Pot Stains
- Begin by filling the glass coffee pot with hot water and a few tablespoons of white vinegar. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
- Use a sponge to scrub the glass and wipe away any residue. If the stains are stubborn, sprinkle baking soda on the stained areas and let the water sit for an extra 10 minutes.
- Once the water has cooled, use a toothbrush to scrub the inside of the pot. Pay special attention to any tight spots where the stain residue may be more difficult to remove.
- When finished scrubbing, empty the glass of vinegar/water and rinse off with warm water. Wipe off the glass with a damp cloth.
- Repeat this process as needed until all stains are removed.
Tips & Warnings
- Be sure to use a separate toothbrush for the coffee pot, so it’s not used on any other kitchen items.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners such as steel wool pads, as this can cause scratches on the glass.
