Cleaning a Glass Coffee Pot
What You’ll Need
- Soft sponge or cloth
- Mild dish soap
- Microfiber cloth
- White distilled vinegar
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup salt
Instructions
- With a soft sponge or cloth, scrub out the coffee pot with warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse clean.
- Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of salt in the coffee pot and add hot water. Let the mixture stay in the pot for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Using a microfiber cloth and circular motions, scrub out the pot until all the grime comes off. Rinse clean with warm water.
- Fill the pot with 1 part white distilled vinegar and 1 part water. Let the solution stay in the pot for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Empty out the solution and rinse the pot out with warm water.
- For a deeper clean, soak a microfiber cloth with white distilled vinegar and place the cloth on the stained areas. Let the cloth stay in the pot for 10 minutes to further remove any grime.
- Rinse the pot out with warm water. The glass coffee pot should be clean and spot free.
