Cleaning a Glass Coffee Pot

What You’ll Need

  • Soft sponge or cloth
  • Mild dish soap
  • Microfiber cloth
  • White distilled vinegar
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup salt

Instructions

  1. With a soft sponge or cloth, scrub out the coffee pot with warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse clean.
  2. Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of salt in the coffee pot and add hot water. Let the mixture stay in the pot for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Using a microfiber cloth and circular motions, scrub out the pot until all the grime comes off. Rinse clean with warm water.
  4. Fill the pot with 1 part white distilled vinegar and 1 part water. Let the solution stay in the pot for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Empty out the solution and rinse the pot out with warm water.
  6. For a deeper clean, soak a microfiber cloth with white distilled vinegar and place the cloth on the stained areas. Let the cloth stay in the pot for 10 minutes to further remove any grime.
  7. Rinse the pot out with warm water. The glass coffee pot should be clean and spot free.
