How to Build a Coffee Table from Pallet Wood

Step One: Prepare the Pallets

The first step in building a coffee table from pallet wood is to prepare the pallets. Start by using a pry bar and hammer to break down the pallet and remove any nails. Then lay the pieces out on a smooth surface and use a circular saw and jigsaw to cut the pieces to the desired dimensions. Sand any rough spots with sandpaper until smooth.

Step Two: Assemble the Table

Now that the pallets are cut and prepped, it’s time to start building! Start by drilling pilot holes in each of the pieces and then use wood screws and wood glue to assemble the table. Once the table is assembled, use a stain, sealer, or other finishing supplies to finish the table.
